Hi KickAssJedi. Wikiscrolls isn't actually hosted by Wikia, so I'm not able to make you an admin there. Instead, I've made you an admin here at Wikia's Elder Scrolls wiki. This site has been inactive for some time and has no other active admins, so I'm hoping you will be interested in reviving and relaunching it. If you need any help with that, just let me know.

Do you think the users at the other wiki would be interested in moving their content here? Their content is also under a free license, so it could be merged with this wiki. Hey, I'm the owner of the content over at Wikiscrolls. If you want, I could relicense everything to whatever license suits you best. I meant that you could have the content without having to attribute it back to Wikiscrolls, a restriction noted here: Elder_Scrolls:Wikiscrolls. As a legality, I think I'd have to relicense everything under the GFDL, which I think is Wikia's preferred license. In addition, you could also take either the theme to UESP or the theme to Wikiscrolls (with exception to the logos), both are owned by me.

In all of the race infobox templates you've written "birthsighn"; it should, however, be "birthsign". If you're going to add any more large templates, could you check through them, because delving through the coding to find the error is a really annoying procedure.

[edit] Plans for Armor/Morrowind

Hi KAJ,

You might have noticed I've started building a page for Armors in Morrowind. Right now there are a lot of red links, but if you're going to add anything, make an individual page; for example: Armor/Morrowind-Steel Tower Shield. Don't add the tower shield into the page Armor/Morrowind-Shields. Instead add a transclusion. In the long run this will save a lot of time, because we only have to type out the information once, then transclude it to Armor/Morrowind-Shield, and Armor/Morrowind-Steel. I've been looking around the wikia and it has improved since the first time I arrived here. I have been thinking about many ways to make it even better:

  1. Create a in-wiki forum (If you wish I can manage it)
  2. Request a wikia staff member to create interwikis between all the family.

Hello again...

I was going to post this on my talk page as a part reply, but thought it better to put it here. I was thinking about the wiki's page/category organization methods, and thought that instead of having the default sortable as what the article is about, we should have it as the province in which it occurs. Did that make any sense? What I basically mean is that instead of Armor/Morrowind and Category:Males/Cyrodiil, we have Morrowind/Armor and Cyrodiil/Males. The advantages would be that the entire wiki would be built sort of like a big tree, if you see what I mean, which would make getting around more easy. The disadvantage would be that someone will have to go through all the pages and re-categorize, re-name, all of them, and then you, or me when I get the rights, will have to do a lot of deleting. KAJ, I've finished the Oblivion Crisis! Thanks for all your help on that front. I now plan to move on to the Mages Guild and Knights of the Nine. Do you have any ideas as to what these conflicts should be called? I've labeled them Mages Guild-Necromancer Conflict and Auroran Crisis so far, but if there are canon names I'm not aware of, or just something else they're being called on the wiki or elsewhere, I'll use those instead. About the NPCm infoboxes. I have two things I was wondering about. The first is: If we have a "race" parameter in the template, why do we have seperate template for the races? The color commands could easily be controlled by the "race" param, not by the template name. Second: Is eye and hair color really nescessary? KAJ, I was wondering, for the Mages Guild conflict, should I label the Guild champion as the Hero of Kvatch or just "the champion"? In the game, the answer is obviously Hero of Kvatch, but in the game world, I think it's only sure that the Hero did the Main Quest, KotN, and SI. Hi KAJ, about your welcome message. Firstly, you can add the message by simply opening Elder Scrolls:Messages, typing in the user's name, and hitting "Send Message". Secondly, isn't the message a bit too big? It's instantly obvious that the message is automated, which for a start makes it seem less like a friendly "Hi". Also it's a bit annoying for any user to have that huge thing at the top of their userpage. Hi. I think there needs to be a requests for adminship page first. All that bureaucrats can do is turn other users into admins as long as there is community consensus for that, and a requests page is the best place to see which users everyone agrees should be an admin. Sorry I've been absent for a while, but the new ads in the content area has made me dislike Wikia.

Two things:

Firstly: Why did you complicate the Main Page's code again? I spent a while getting rid of that. The Rb and Rt templates are totally unnecessary, as are the div IDs and classes, which don't even exist on this wiki. If you want the visual effects, that can be acchieved through wiki tables.

Secondly: The use of UESP's background parchment was a copyright violation. We've had a copyright violation issue before and I don't want it repeated.

Just checked Monobook, and it looks great!

I have my prefs set to whatever skin the admin has set for the wiki, so I see monaco here usually.

I really like that background behind the logo! You should work with the monaco skin to swap the top two colors so that that background is behind the logo on the monaco skin too.

Recently when going through the categories, I noticed that their were dates... Like January 8. I really do not understand why they would be on the Elder Scrolls Wiki, so I think they should be deleted.

Hello KAJ, Groe here. Again, sorry 'bout me leave of absence, I think I'll start posting on my page when I'll need to be gone for a while. But I had a question, before I got started with the Shivering Isles stuff, which will be soon. Have we decided to start using Bendu Olo for all mentions of the main character, as opposed to Hero of Kvatch, Champion of the Mages Guild, etc.? I still use HoK in my pages, and I created the Champion as a way of leaving the character ambiguous, allowing visitors to the wiki to insert their own characters without having to surrender to the Construction Set's default. But is it unneccesary? Looking at Darth Storm's Dark Brotherhood pages, I began to wonder if Bendu Olo is the accepted version now. Let me know.GR Groe 05:10, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Hey KAJ, I've started categorizing, hopefully I'll be in the habit soon enough. I'm also more than happy to assist with the Oblivion Project. Will there be one done for the other games as well? Also, a question if I may: I've noticed that many infoboxes, like the Imperial ones and the Organization ones, do not stay in their proper place on the finished page, whereas other infoboxes such as the Redguard and Nord ones do. These infoboxes also look different. Is it just my computer, or is there a difference, and if so can it be corrected? (I'm afraid I'm not very knowledgable with Templates). Just wondering. I don't know why, but there's quite a lot of them featuring quite important characters? Well, he didn't do anything wrong here. The owners of wikia.org RegexBlocked him from over 5,000 wikis he doesn't even contribute to! Please, get wikia.org to unblock him, and also "T3H UBER UESP WIKI" who blocked him when he didn't even vandalise. Plus, please change the default skin to Monobook. I hate Monaco.


P.S. Also, he and his sock Jhjnju didn't do anything wrong. Now these colourful Banned templates will have to be on your user page, + you will have no admin buttons, and will be regexblocked foom all of Wikia. KAJ, I don't know when you'll be back, but you may notice that I've changed a couple of the character infoboxes to their original state. On my computer, at least, the new infoboxes that you created a while back, such as the Organization and Imperial ones, appear bulky and don't stay positioned on whatever page they're used on, becoming quite a nuisance. Other infoboxes, such as the Daedric and Nord ones, don't do this, and those were ones you didn't change. CatherineMunro does not answer her talk page, or answer requests there ever. Even though she continues to make edits, she seems to completely ignore her talk page and will never answer anyones requests, she hasn't even edited her talk page since November. Michaseldsuarez knows this, which is why he specifically went to her to request resignation instead of someone you suggested, Angela, someone who actually responds to people regularly. This seems to be some last ditch effort to hang on to his adminship and hope no one notices. I informed him that CatherineMunro ignores her talk page, but of course he won't listen to anything I say, which further suggests that he did this on purpose. Hey KickAssJedi, I'm Richard1990, part of Wikia's gaming team. I'm just dropping by to gave your wiki some search engine optimization (SEO). The main thing I wanted to do was to change MediaWiki:Pagetitle and MediaWiki:Pagetitle-view-mainpage so that they include 3 keywords that people often use to search for topics related to this wiki's subject. This will improve the rank this wiki will have when people search for those terms, resulting in a growth in the wiki's community. The Magic Bullet explains this and has some more tips. You may also want to use Wikipedia's Wikia template by using it on Wikipedia's articles related to this wiki's subject.
