I understand! I saw you edited Skjor and figured I'd check it out. I patrol all the edits made to the wiki, so I see everything that's change (when I'm online, at least). I noticed that article wasn't too bad, so I fixed it while it was still easy to fix. I'm glad you're eager to contribute! I'm sure you'll get the hang of it, once you have a better knowledge of the Manual of Style under your belt. Most of it I'm sure you'll learn by looking at other articles or watching other people edit. If you're curious about what a "good" article looks like, check out our Good articles and featured articles. Might give you a better idea. It was in the main space. When you renamed the title from "test" you moved it out of the user blog namespace and into the main space. I moved it back into your blog space (which I wasn't aware I was able to do), but in the future be mindful when renaming pages, the "User blog:Vashtari/" part was what held it in your blog space, removing that makes it a main space page. Creating a new blog is exactly the same as creating a new article, or forum post, or any page, really. The difference is all in the namespace. There are quite a few namespaces, it's the part of the URL after /wiki/ but before the actual page name. For example, if you look at the address bar in your browser right now you'll probably see "elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Vashtari" possibly with a # and some text after that. I'm not sure how much you know about computers, so I don't want to be insulting (by over-explaining it) but the "User_talk:" part is a namespace. When you moved your blog from "User_blog:Vashtari/test" to "How_to_write_an_effective_TES_Wiki_page" you removed the User_blog: namespace, which moved the page into the main article namespace. - (Btw, not all directories need an index page, and the page can be called anything, as long as that name is specified in the server configuration) (Also sites can operate without an index file at all, the server will simply generate its own index of the files in that directory.) The reason I removed the "bug" posted by another user was because he stated that when he tried to talk to Gerdur about the main quest line option it didn't appear. This isn't a bug because he just skipped listening to her after arriving in Riverwood for the first time. It is irrelevant whether you choose that dialogue option since Gerdur merely points you in the direction of Whiterun and offers some supplies. :)

Hi Vashtari, Thanks for your contributions on the wiki! Yes, the bug sections of many pages need to be reviewed. Since there have been patches out, there are probably many bugs that have already been resolved and some bugs that may not be bugs at all. You are more than welcome to go through the bugs sections to correct any issues when you have the time. We always welcome help from editors in fixing up pages for tone and quality. Articles with unencyclopedic toneEdit
Just a little FYI. We don't use the above template/category. It's actually a template that has previously been deleted. Instead we use the {{Attention}} template. I know right, I think its just that people think that anything lying around should be considered notable, especially seeing that I think steel daggers have something like 1 base damage more then iron daggers, which unless used with the assassins blade perk as well as the 1 handed damage multiplying perk will be a negligible amount of damage done. I mean a guy once listed iron weapons as notable loot in skuldafn, a place where if you still think iron weapons are notable loot, will result in your painful death at the hands of alduin

Personally I find you to be an incredibly helpful member of this community, but you change things based on your own opinions. Several of the things you strive to remove are perfectly acceptable. Just because you view it as unnecessary does not mean another user will not find it helpful. Several pieces of Trivia you removed were actually quite valid. But I won't argue with you, I'll take it to the admin and let them decide. Feel free to edit this and delete it after you've read it, I'll be doing the same to your message. No need for drama on a website.

I have no problem with you. I stated that I found you to be very helpful. I'm currently speaking with Elchzard as I type this. Who is an Admin. He's resolving the conflict. I also stated my reasons for what I did on the talk page. I refuse to discuss this further as you're very hostile, and defensive. I have no problem with you and I think you are a great asset to this wiki. I also think that no matter what you or anyone says there are clear terms in the TOS and that just because some wrote something "Far worse" in another talk page, doesn't give you the right to do so.
I give you my word that if the Admin tells me I'm wrong, I will SINCERELY apologize, and let the issue be. I JUST joined today after all. So comparing me to you is unfair. And means nothing.

Complaint.Edit
I have had a complaint on your editing of the page http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Ysolda. The person didn't sign their name but the following is their complaint. :
"Has been editing the [[]]http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Ysolda page frequently. Much of what she does is helpful, but I'm also seeing her delete things that she believes aren't necessary because she doesn't like them. For example, Trivia on how killing the owner of the Inn inside of Whiterun will lead to ysolda running it. That's useful information for those who like Ysolda. She also repeatedly deletes the Marriage section because she believes it isn't needed, when it's on nearly every other character's page whom you are able to marry."
Please don't remove text that YOU find useless. Other people may find the info neccassary. I think this is just a one off, as you have been improving many articles on the wiki such as the FARKAS one. Thanks. Commander Faol (talk) 14:20, June 5, 2012 (UTC)
-Whoever it was probably was the same one who attacked me on deviantART simply because he didn't like how I did things. I was accused of not being able to "handle" changes people made on things I've done. I've always run my changes by admins, therefore I don't see the problem. The simple fact it's unsigned goes to show the person didn't have the guts to talk to me. If spoken to with respect, I can be quite friendly. I've written more on your talk page.
