Template:City infobox Verkarth, otherwise known as Verkarth City, is a city located in north central Hammerfell near the city of Ska'vyn.
History
First Era
During the mid first era, the city of Verkarth was ruled by King Styriche. He was known to be a vampire with an army of Werewolves and other vampires known as the Gray Host. Styriche's forces were defeated by Empress Hestra, her Alessian Legion, and Saint Pelin[1] in 1E 1029, this resulted in him and his army fleeing westward into High Rock. They were eventually halted and routed to the Bangkorai Garrison in Bangkorai.[2]
Second Era
During the Alliance War, Molag Bal's worshippers built large structures known as Dark Anchors, where Worm Cultists call to Molag Bal and summon his minions to fight the mortals on Nirn. Molag Bal is able to summon notable minions including King Styriche.[3]
During Tiber Septim's reign, Verkarth City was still an established city.
Third Era

During the Imperial Simulacrum, the Eternal Champion had at one point visited the city in their quest for a piece of the Staff of Chaos.
