Second EraEdit

During the Interregnum in 2E 582, the Boneshaper Clan of Reachmen made an alliance with the Order of the Black Worm to destroy the Ebonheart Pact in the Rift. The Boneshapers attacked the town of Shor's Stone and Fallowstone Hall to garner the necessities to resurrect Sinmur, the Giant of Legend. The Boneshapers had advanced to the Vernim Woods and had kept the Pact at bay for a while. The Worm Cult was performing a ritual on the Reachmen and the Pact needed to stop the rituals before it gets out of hand.[1][2]

A mysterious traveler that was known as the Vestige traveled to Vernim and uncovered the plot between the Reachmen and the Worm Cult. The warrior took the heart of Calix Thorntongue and several other cultists and used it to create a potion to enter the Vaults of Vernim. Inside the vaults is Stral Blackthroat, the leader of the Reachmen, and defeating him would drive the Reachmen out of Eastern Skyrim. The Vestige defeated Blackthroat, and the Worm Cult vanished into the Ragged Hills. Reports say they arrived into Nimalten.[3][4]

Third EraEdit
