Voslaarum (Dovahzul: VOSLAaRUM) is a Revered Dragon found in The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard.

Touching the SkyEdit

Voslaarum, along with Naaslaarum, can be found in the Forgotten Vale during this quest. Walking on the large frozen lake will cause both dragons to burst out from beneath the ice and attack. They will be triggered to attack if walking near to the Word Wall for Drain Vitality.

As with all Revered Dragons, Voslaarum uses the Drain Vitality shout during combat. In addition, he can dive underwater and resurface at will. Any damage to the ice lake caused by either dragon is permanent.

There are Resist Fire potions lying near the treasure chest at the Drain Vitality Word Wall that can be quite useful when dealing with both Dragons in combat.

  • Voslaarum is immune to the Bend Will shout.
  • Voslaarum and Naaslaarum will not appear until the quest "Dragon Rising" is completed.

This section contains bugs related to Voslaarum. Before adding a bug to this list, consider the following:

  1. Please reload an old save to confirm if the bug is still happening.
  2. If the bug is still occurring, please post the bug report with the appropriate system template  360  / XB1  ,  PS3  / PS4  ,  PC  / MAC  , depending on which platform(s) the bug has been encountered on.
  3. Be descriptive when listing the bug and fixes, but avoid having conversations in the description and/or using first-person-anecdotes: such discussions belong on the appropriate forum board.
  •  PC   360   PS3   Sometimes, when flying near the Word Wall, the dragon loses almost all his flying speed, hovering slowly over the ground, thereby becoming an easy target for arrows and Destruction spells. He can still however attack the Dragonborn with his breath.
  •  PC   360   PS3   The twin dragons may not appear, even if the quest "Dragon Rising" has been completed.
    •  PC(Fix)   However, using the two commands setstage DLC1LDIceDragonFight 3 and DLC1LDIceDragonFight02 3 will force Voslaarum and Naaslaarum to spawn, they will burst out of the lake and fight like they would normally do. Note that those commands will work even if "Dragon Rising" has not been completed.
