Wall of Elements is an active skill in the Destruction Staff skill line in The Elder Scrolls Online.

Effects[]

Creates an elemental wall that deals 2 Magic Damage every 1 seconds to enemies in the area of effect. Wall lasts for 2.5 seconds.

Requirement[]

Unlocked at Destruction Staff Rank 4.

Morphs[]

Unstable Wall of Elements[]

  • Wall explodes when it expires, damaging enemies in the area.
  • Update 6: Increased the explosion damage of this ability by 30% for all ranks.[1]
  • Update 6: Increased the durations of all ranks and morphs of Wall of Elements by 2 seconds.[1]

Elemental Blockade[]

  • Increase size and duration.
  • Update 6: Increased the durations of all ranks and morphs of Wall of Elements by 2 seconds.[1]
  • Update 7: Increased the duration to 8 seconds.[2]

Updates[]

  • Update 1: (Wall of Fire): Changed this ability's visual FX to help it stand out better from enemy fire area-effects.[3]
  • Update 4: As of Update 4, this ability no longer removes the Nightblade active skill, Shadow Cloak[4]
  • Update 6: Increased the durations of all ranks and morphs of Wall of Elements by 2 seconds.[1]
  • Update 6: Reduced the cost of Wall of Elements for all ranks.[1]
  • Update 6: The damage dealt by Wall of Elements will now stack correctly with other instances of Wall of Elements cast by other player characters that affect the same target.[1]
  • Update 6: Only one Wall of Element per caster may be active at any time.[1]
  • Update 6: Reduced the brightness of this ability's effects.[1]
  • Update 7: Increased the base duration of this ability to 6 seconds from 4 seconds.[2]
  • Update 7: Fixed an issue where this ability didn't have a target cap [2]
  • Update 7: Wall of Fire: This ability will now deal 20% more damage against burning targets.[2]
  • Update 7: Wall of Frost: Chilled enemies will now be immobilized for 4 seconds.[2]
  • Update 8: Fixed an issue where the visual effects on the Flame and Frost versions of this ability were persisting too long, making it appear as if the ability was recast.[5]
