The War of Manifest Metaphors was a war that took place during the Dawn Era and culminated at the start of the Merethic Era ^[1]. It involved the unmaking of Lorkhan ^[1]. The war, fought between the Aedra and Lorkhan ^[1], is unable to be expressedly defined, as the war itself rendered those stories unable to support most qualities of what is commonly known as "narrative." ^[1]. It is known that sometime during the war, the Heart of Lorkhan was separated from his body, which was later used to turn the Tribunal into gods. ^{[2] [3] [4]}
