Wolf Armor is a set of Heavy Armor found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It consists of a metal breastplate, helmet, gauntlets and boots, lacking a shield. Most pieces are adorned with some sort of feral motif—be it the likeness of a wolf's head, a skull, or teeth. Wolf Armor cannot be crafted by the Dragonborn, but becomes available for purchase from Eorlund Grey-Mane in Whiterun after completing the Proving Honor quest. Some pieces of the armor can also be obtained during the Companions questline, and can be seen being worn by senior members of The Companions. The armor and the boots can be looted from Skjor after you find him dead at the end of the Companions quest The Silver Hand.
Wolf Armor is a variation of Steel Armor: each piece requires a Steel Ingot to upgrade at a workbench, and the Steel Smithing perk will yield greater improvements. Wolf Armor pieces have the same armor ratings as their steel counterparts, but with the exception of Wolf Gauntlets, they are lighter. This makes them superior to Steel Armor, and arguably superior to Steel Plate Armor—while Wolf Armor offers less protection than steel plate, its base weight-to-armor ratios are more favorable. It is also obtainable through the Skyforge bug.
