Wolf Helmet is a piece of heavy armor and part of the Wolf Armor set.
Locations
Wolf Helmets do not appear on leveled lists and can therefore not be found as random loot in chests or as a world item. It can however be obtained by:
- Purchased from Eorlund Gray-Mane after joining the Companions.
- It is also possible to retrieve the helmet by using the blacksmith's invisible chest under Whiterun.
Smithing
A Wolf Helmet cannot be created at a blacksmith's forge; it can be upgraded at a workbench with a Steel Ingot. It also benefits from the Steel Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.
Trivia
- Despite Vilkas using this helmet when going into battles, as seen in "Purity of Revenge," the helmet cannot be found in or taken from his inventory when made a follower.
